  1. 5/10/2010: As last week’s seller become today’s buyer, he will chase us higher as we become the short seller. Today’s bounce is driven by good news from overseas and Barrons being less bearish than they should be. Talk of a Short Squeeze has fueled the fire as well. None of it changes our mind, we still believe we are going lower. (2:07pm)
  2. 3/22/2010: Talk on the floor of today’s reversal was short covering. Don’t believe it! Our feeling is more toward a key technical level holding ($SPX 1150) and the dip buyer starting to get involved. The Last guy starting to get long? Yes he is and we know what that means. (2:40 pm)
  3. 4/21/2010: Art Cashin, a very smart man and a skeptic of a rising market for months, is now saying the underlying technical condition of the market is improving. Here we see yet another Bear turn Bullish, but only after a more than 70% move in the SPX from a year ago. That’s what we call being late to the party. And as we continue to hold our contrarian point of view (e.g. most every pundit is Bearish the bond while we remain Bullish) we continue to exercise caution and maintain strict balance in our holdings. 4. 3/12/2010: Lot’s of talk about an improving economy. Not much concern about risk relative to entry points. Watchout for OTC weakness as the OEX and INDU stay firm. (10:15 am)
  5. 3/9/2010: Feels as if we are setting up to test and pivot around the $1133 level on the SPX. If this holds, we are prepared to re-load for a trade back up. A move above $1136 would add conviction to our call once we see $1133 act as support. AMLN and SY are two names that stand out. (9:45am)
